The July 2024 quarterly TRUE rating system and guidance addenda are now available. To view the changes, visit the addenda table and search for 7/1/2024.
This release includes updates to the text of three different credits within the TRUE rating system, "TRUE for Construction Projects Pilot Guidance" document and "TRUE Technical Guide for Events" certification. Key points to look for include:
- The introduction of the new Training Credit 9: TRUE Advisor. This credit was formerly a pilot credit, and due to extensive positive feedback and widespread use of this credit since its initial launch, it was determined that the credit should be added to the official rating system.
- The removal of Zero Waste Reporting Credit 4: Benchmark Zero Waste Performance. This change is due to the discontinuation of the WasteWise program by the Environmental Protection Agency and the limited replacement programs available, which make this credit much more difficult to achieve.
What are addenda?
Addenda are official updates that note changes and improvements to the TRUE rating system and other published guidance documents. They help clarify, correct or interpret the texts or provide alternative language. Addenda should be referred to in conjunction with the TRUE rating system and other published guidance documents.
TRUE addenda will be incorporated into future versions of the rating system. They are designed to be a midway step to an official version update to address needed changes to the rating system.
